Bio
Patrick Gibson was born in 1982 in the small town of Apopka, Florida. He grew up in central Florida and brought up on “family traditions.” He watched his father play around with the music business for years and finally decided to pick up a guitar and make some noise himself. At a young age, Patrick performed in a "Honky-Tonk" with his Father's band, and from that day on he never quit. After working on his talent all the way through school, Patrick wrote his first song. "All of my writings have some sort of inspiration, all the way from the words of my Grandfather to my personal thoughts on life today."
With special mentors such as friends and family, god above, and some well seasoned pickers, he was on his way to paying his dues. After completing his first Nashville project entitled "Florida," which included seven of his own originals, the beginning of a new journey for Patrick Gibson came about. He began sharing the stage with headliners and Nashville Artists such as Sawyer Brown, Ronnie Milsap, Jeff Bates, John Anderson, Craig Morgan, Rhett Akins, Trent Willmon and many others. He gained immediate respect for his explosive, high energy stage performance.
The album received radio play in several parts of the state of Florida. In 2008 Patrick had placed (2) of his songs in the top ten on the RED HOT SPOTLIGHT on Clear Channel radio WIKX Charlotte Harbor, Fl. Along with that he was also voted “ARTIST OF THE YEAR” on web-based radio” Q’s House” and being the first and only country artist to do so. October 2008 became the date of his first ever “live” Nashville debut. Performing on Broadway in the heart of Nashville, TN at the well known CADILLAC RANCH, he was accepted by the entertainment industry and was asked to return during CRS 2009. His music is addictive and memorable and is a style only Patrick Gibson can wear.
With all of that who could ask for more? Well there is more. “PG” is involved with several nationaly known charity foundations and organizations. Performing often with the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, and selling CD’s to benefit the RONALD McDONALD HOUSE of Central Florida seems to capture the interest of this artist. Along with that, 25 separate McDonald’s stores carried the CD “Florida” to support his love for helping out! Take away the contagious music and well suited cowboy hat and you have a tall walking heart of gold. His reputation amongst his fans is die hard. He has a soft soul for reaching out to the audience and capturing their hearts and does this genuinely. So what’s to come of this “Soulful Country Humanitarian?” A lot! His hard working trait makes him very desirable and his passion for music and talent for songwriting is unstoppable. Patrick Gibson is a talent not to be missed!

Spinnit Records currently is building dominance as a provider for music around the globe, and is working to be recognized as a principal label for metal, hard rock, country, and is also open to all genres. The birth of Spinnit came about from an early start in the summer of 2009, when lead singer of Florida hard rock/metal band Lydia Can't Breathe, decided to team up with Brendon Keith of Studio 101, and release the band's debut album. The label went on to officially release "At the Bottom of the Podum Stole" on November 27th, 2010. Subsequently following the digital and physical release, the label steady pushed forward to work on touring and building relationships with notable acts. Having a strict belief that evolving relations in a community of cutting-edge acts would eventually give more attention to Spinnit, they began persuading fans during a stylistic shift of tides in the hard rock music scene. These directional changes have been constant, building from the ground up humbly, and further on with intentions of growing outside the United States. Spinnit is working to gather fan bases to create a concrete structure that will allow their acts from small areas to have their music properly represented, and promoted, creating touring opportunities in multiple markets.
Although in a lot of ways selling albums and making it through the previous avenues of success have died out, this has created more opportunity for Spinnit as an independent label to grow. As supporting roles within the scene evolve, so are the various genre styles that are available to music consumers. The scope of the music industry has morphed, and controlling a musical career has become more easily adaptable for smaller labels and bands.
Country music has been increasingly gaining attention as a nationwide genre. With a growing audience and opportunity to break into a new market, Spinnit Records and Patrick Gibson sought out a recording agreement that would benefit both parties, allowing them to capitalize on touring opportunities, and to primarily expand their network. Respectively, Patrick has shared the stage with headliners in the Nashville scene with artists such as Sawyer Brown, Ronnie Milsap, Jeff Bates, John Anderson, Craig Morgan, Rhett Akins, Trent Willmon and many others. He has gained notable respect and demanded immediate attention for his explosive, high-energy stage performance.
In the beginning stages, Spinnit has not only revamped the Central Florida music scene with their own strategies, but the label has grown into a more mature focused business that sees a light at the end of the tunnel. The core foundation of creative freedom is set aside from the variables allowing a chance for diversity in music that is not often found today. Pairing that mission with an ability to adapt to the forever-changing economics in the music industry, allowing a more mutual outlook on creative development without having to firmly adhere to the normal tactics of the music industry. Advancing the musical careers of every artist under the label has prompted the owners of Spinnit to raise the bar with each future project. Reaching out to develop relationships with booking agents, promoters, designers, labels, representatives, and in the past 3 years Spinnit Records has exemplified characteristics of a hard working independent label. The work being done is by fans and friends that together love working with musicians, and love making music for fans of all walks. These fans that continue to support from-the-ground-up movements such as Spinnit Records are the foundation to each and every success alike.
